What do the books look like?
Our graphic designers and editors obsessed over every detail of the design and content of our books to ensure an attractive and enjoyable product while our resident print-production specialist has painstakingly researched every element of book manufacturing to produce an enduring book with the exceptional quality and integrity of bookstore-shelf paperbacks.
Your customized novel measures a standard 4 1/8 x 6 3/4 inches and perfect-bound to a full color cover.
How long are the novels?
Books number 180 to 200 pages, depending on the title.

How do I place an order?
Ordering online is the easiest, most convenient and accurate method of processing your request.
Upon selecting your desired novels and answering the corresponding questions for each, your input is taken and incorporated throughout the books, permitting us to customize each one to you and your lover.
The books are produced with the answers that you provide through our online order forms, exactly as you entered them. As such, we strongly encourage our clients to carefully check the spelling in the order form before they submit an order - this includes proper capitalization of names and locations. We will not be able to refund your purchase as a result of your spelling errors.
How can I check the status of my order?
You can check the status of your order at any time by using our online order status tool. You may also e-mail us at info@torridromance.com.
What payment methods do you accept? Torrid Romance accepts the following: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal checks and money orders/cashiers checks. Please note that paying by personal check requires extra processing time to allow the payment to clear. Your order will not ship until your payment has been successfully processed. When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card will not be charged until production on your book actually starts.
Will I be charged sales tax?
As required by law, Torrid Romance charges an 8.25% sales tax for orders shipped to California residents. Recipients residing in other states are responsible for complying with local use tax laws.
Are my personal and payment information secure?
Absolutely. All transactions are performed using industry standard SSL secured connections. Only you and Torrid Romance have access to your private information. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes. You may cancel your order at any time up until the moment production starts on your books.
Shipping
Do you ship outside the United States?
Absolutely. Our order forms are designed to accommodate international orders. If you experience any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance with your order. You may e-mail us at info@torridromance.com.
How long can I expect to wait before I receive my book? Each book is custom made to your specification and generally takes 5-7 business days to produce, oftentimes sooner.
Once completed, you have the option of having your books shipped via the US Postal Service's Priority Mail or Express Mail services. Priority Mail takes on average 2 to 3 days for delivery while Express Mail provides for quicker, overnight delivery to most large cities and 48 hours for smaller cities. Keep in mind that these figures are for shipping only and do not account for the time needed for the production of your books.
Delivery times apply only to orders shipped within the continental United States. International orders and orders to military and outlying properties require additional transit time.
Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. However, Express Mail orders have priority and incur a $10.00 surcharge in addition to the shipping charges for expedited handling.
What if I need my novel immediately?
We try our best to accommodate the needs of our customers. Please contact a Torrid Romance editor to make arrangements. Additional charges may apply.
Returns
What is your return policy?
The very personal and custom nature of our books prevent us from offering refunds for books that have been produced for you. However, your satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to have each and every transaction result in a pleasant, easy and successful shopping experience. As such, if there is an obvious flaw in the workmanship of the book, we will gladly replace it at no charge to you.
